Supporting Challenging Behaviour – ABA Tips from a Behaviour Therapist

This workshop, presented online in collaboration with a behaviour therapist from Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services, will focus on the various principles used in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to help reduce challenging behaviours. The why, what, and how’s of the following topics:  

• The 4 functions of behaviour

• Antecedent strategies

• Replacement behaviours

• Consequence strategies  

This workshop is for families/caregivers with children and youth (up to age 18) with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and are registered with The Ontario Autism Program (OAP).
